If God already knows everything and has a plan, why does prayer change anything — or does it?
Christians are told to pray without ceasing, that prayer moves mountains, that God answers when we call. But if God is omniscient and his will is sovereign and unchanging, what exactly is prayer doing? Are we genuinely changing outcomes, just aligning ourselves with what God already planned, or is intercessory prayer one of the most underexamined assumptions in the faith? Pick a side and defend it.
