If God knew before creation that billions would go to hell, do humans actually have free will — or is 'freedom' just the story we tell to let God off the hook?
God is said to be omniscient — He knew before He spoke the first atom into existence exactly who would choose Him and who would not. He created those people anyway. If the outcome was certain before you were born, in what meaningful sense did YOU choose anything? Some say genuine freedom and divine foreknowledge can coexist. Others say that's word games. Pick a side — or explain why the question itself is wrong.
