Is the Bible alone enough to know God's will — or is 2,000 years of Church tradition actually Scripture's equal?
Protestants say 'Scripture alone' (sola scriptura). Catholics and Orthodox say tradition and church authority stand alongside Scripture as authoritative guides. Both sides have serious arguments and serious stakes. So which is it: is your personal Bible reading enough to know truth, or has the Reformation doctrine of sola scriptura produced 40,000 denominations and counting — which is itself proof it doesn't work? Pick a side and defend it.
