Did James directly contradict Paul on salvation — or have Protestants been ignoring half the New Testament for 500 years?
Paul says we're justified by faith alone, not works (Romans 3:28). James says faith without works is dead and 'a man is justified by works and not by faith alone' (James 2:24). Luther called James 'an epistle of straw' and wanted it out of the Bible. So who's right — Paul, James, or the church tradition that's been pretending these two don't clash? Pick a side and defend it.
