Did Jesus ever actually tell anyone to build a church — or did Paul plant an institution Jesus never commissioned?
Jesus said 'I will build my church' exactly once, never handed out blueprints, never appointed a board of elders, and spent most of his ministry eating with outcasts and wandering. Paul, on the other hand, planted congregations, wrote governance rules, and created the organizational DNA every denomination still runs on. So whose church are we actually in — Jesus's or Paul's? Pick a side and defend it.
