Jesus said 'No one comes to the Father except through Me' — does that mean every person who never heard His name is damned forever?
John 14:6 is one of the most quoted verses in Christianity — and one of the most uncomfortable. If Jesus is the ONLY way to God, what happens to the billions who lived and died never once encountering the gospel? Are they condemned for a geography problem they had no control over? Or has the church been reading this verse in a way that's far harsher than Jesus intended? Pick a side and defend it.
