Did God choose who gets saved before the world began — or does Calvinism make evangelism pointless and God a monster?
Calvinists say God sovereignly elected specific individuals for salvation before creation — not based on anything they'd do, but purely on His own will. Arminians say that guts human responsibility, makes God arbitrary, and turns the gospel invitation into a cruel joke for the non-elect. Both camps claim Paul, both claim Jesus, and both think the other one is missing something enormous. Which side has the Bible — and which side has a theology they just can't admit is broken?
